1. that's 18-29 year olds so covers more people , the same is true
when you look at the states voting on gay rights issues. if you only took this age group it would not have passed including in the conservative states.

5. Those states didn't turn blue overnight
As old notions of conservatism die off, the red fades slowly.
AK is just a unique habitat, give 'em time.

Menwhile, I don't see a shift to red in the near future for those states that have seen the light. There's no going back now.

I can honestly say I have hope for our State. There are still 80,000 or so uncounted ballots. Let's hope they get rid of Ted Stevens.

7. Yep. Obama is not only an amazing candidate. He's a game changer. Ask Chicago, where he got
over 100,000 voters registered after he was graduated from law school. Changed the face of politics in Chicago, probably for decades, if not for always. Made it more responsive to the people.
