Joe the Plumber - poster boy for John McCain's campaign - is now dissing his candidate.

"You know, it doesn't matter if McCain or Obama won this election; either way, politicians in general don't give a rip about us," Mr. Fix-it said during a weekend visit to New York City. But the soon-to-be author, a k a Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, said he loved one person in the GOP camp - Sarah Palin. "I don't want to sound like a hippie, but she's got this energy coming from her. It's amazing," he said.

"All she wants to do is do right by America and secure our values. Barack Obama wants to fundamentally change our democracy, and that is worrisome."

6. I understand why Palin still gets press coverage but why is this bozo still on the radar?

Based on the way Alaska voted in most of their contests I have no doubt that Palin will be in the Senate by 2009 if Stevens is purged. Once she's in place in DC she's going to be one of the primary prospects for 2012.

However, Joe the Plumber's 15 minutes should have ended at 11 p.m. on November 4th. I understand Hannity still pimping the guy but why is anyone else giving this guy a platform?
