Kerry today: Bush sold a bill of goods to the American people . . .
Holding a town hall meeting with St. Louis area seniors Friday, Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry pledged to move America in a new direction after four years of Bush policies that have put special interests ahead of seniors and families.

* * *

“The truth is George Bush sold a bill of goods to the American people, while he gave a bag of goodies to his special interest friends,” Kerry said. “That’s W – wrong choices, wrong direction and the wrong leadership for America.”

* * *

“You can imagine how hard the Bush administration had to work to pull a fast one like that on the American people,” Kerry said. “In the end, it looks like all of George Bush’s special interest friends got a big payoff while seniors got a bigger bill.”

* * *

“John Edwards and I will set a new direction,” Kerry said. “George W. Bush believes when it comes to Medicare, the big drug companies come first, the insurance companies come second and seniors come last. Well I’m going to put you first. Medicare doesn’t belong to the special interests, it belongs to you. You paid for it. We have a plan for a real prescription drug benefit for seniors, to cut the cost of prescription drugs for all Americans and to make health care affordable and available for everyone in this country.”

2. "People Get Ready, There's a Train A Coming...Just Get On Board!"
That's the song I think of when I think about Kerry now. The Steady Train is coming and it's going to replace the hotheaded Express train of the Bush regime.

Kerry is fired up and kicking Mr. Champagne Unit's ass all over the place!

3. This is what we need to be talking about
Bush tries to scare people about terra, and hidden taxes while trying to divert attention away from his record.

This "war on terra" and Iraq police action has been loaded on the backs of American taxpayers. Bush has run up the American credit card while passing out the cash advances to his buddies via no-bid contracts. He has charged up the card throwing money at Iraq hoping we won't notice where the funds are going.

Its OUR money he is passing out like beads at a drunken Mardi Gras parade. Well the bill is coming due and the Chinese loan sharks will want their money.

It's time we looked at the man behind the curtain.

I thought Kerry had been thrown off-message! I thought he never mentioned health care! I thought he never talked about anything the American people cared about! ;-)

14. Kerry Can Score Major Seniors' Votes On Health Care
I'm thinking more and more that health care should be Kerry's campaign theme.
