PROOF THAT BUSH'S DISCHARGE WAS PHONY, AND ROVE FORGED IT!!!!!
Edited on Fri Sep-10-04 02:15 PM by Walt Starr
Okay, now that I have your attention...

This was from a friend via email, and it makes a ton of sense:

It's not the dishonesty--not to John Q. Public anyway. (The party in power tries to hold on to the reins of power using any means necessary--fudging numbers, threatening to fire people, etc. I am shocked!) The average person does not care about the Vietnam war that the two sides insist on refighting. Mr. Couch Potato knows that George Bush is a liar and that John Kerry is a liar, too; it's a given with any politician. The average person only cares about what's in it for him.

I think that one of the most effective ads that John Kerry could run would be to fill a football field with $100 bills until he gets to $200 billion, and simply have a caption that reads, "The $200 billion that George Bush has spent in Iraq. Wouldn't you like to see some of that money in your pocket?"

Until John Kerry can articulate a clear, and more importantly concise, vision for where he is going to take this country, George Bush and the Amazing Multiple Deferment Society will continue to weave their web from the Oval Office on November 3rd. Kerry had better do it fast because time is running out.

2. It not just about Vietnam it is also about drugs
the problem that Jesus washed all of George's sins away at age 40 so what happened in 1972 is somehow no longer relevent.

3. We could also point out their political operation is much smoother
than their actual leadership.

they can spot forgeries in his national guard records way faster than they could the Uranium Documents from Niger, and to far greater press coverage.

http://abcnews.go.com/sections/wnt/US/uranium030716flaweddocs.html

Among the many glaring errors evident in the documents, which were allegedly produced by an underpaid Nigerien diplomat and published in La Repubblica, are the use of obsolete letterheads, incompatible dates and poorly forged signatures.

In one document that supposedly formalizes the sale of uranium to Iraq, dated October 2000, bears the signature of a man who has not been Niger's foreign minister since 1989.

5. An Excellent Point, Mr. Starr!
The mound of hundreds would be an excellent image, and your friend is absolutely right: the basic political questions are "What's in it for me?" and "Where's mine?"

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

7. Good points
the problem is to get the message through. What I think we need to do is send out "bills" saying THIS IS HOW MUCH YOUR FAMILY OWES FOR THE TERRA WAR. AMOUNT DUE IN THIRTY DAYS.

******* 150.00 *****

In the bill there should be a break down:

50% to Halliburton and other no-bid contracts
30% to overhead
10% to covering up the bush administrations f*ckups
10% to actually doing something useful

Cash only, no credit cards.

8. I don't know if that would do it. Kerry has been hammering on that
lately and it isn't making much difference. I still think Kerry should call a press conference, recite his 1971 testimony which was very powerful and he was right to try to stop the war. I am seeing the swiftboat ads about how his testimony hurt the POWS a couple of times an hour here in Wisconsin and I'm sure they are doing damage.

They he should also read the speech he gave to the Senate before his IWR vote which also is very powerful and show exactly where Bush broke his promises in that regard.

Then the fun starts. He can distinctly point out how he has acted RESPONSIBLY, showed FORTITUDE and GOOD JUDGMENT during these times and George W Bush did not. Kerry has kept his COMMITMENTS to his country.

He needn't mention the current AWOL mess but everyone will get the message.

I know he has been advised not to go back to these subjects, but he lost ground because of them, so how can he make up ground ignoring them ?

9. That would be a good ad but there's this Osama problem.
When he is found just before the election, the bush cabal will persuade the idiots that it was worth all that money (and lost lives). People will forget.
