Kick Ass Vet Rally for Kerry in Midland Texas

The Democratic Dems in junior and Laura's home town are gonna have a blast on October 1, 04 - Just received this e-mail.

"The Texas Vets for Kerry Caravan will be coming to Midland Oct.1 for a rally. They are driving across the state and will spend the night here. The rally is planned to begin at 6:30 PM at Midland Center, lower level. Rick Bolanos, a Vietnam vet, will be the featured speaker. Bolanos, along with his 3 brothers all volunteered and served in Vietnam at the same time.
We need some financial support for this caravan's stay in Midland. It would help greatly if you could sponsor a vet ($40) for the night. To contribute, please make out your check to Midland County Democratic Party, earmarked for the Vets caravan. Send it to me at 5002 Thames Ct, Midland, 79705, or Democratic HQ, 601 S. Main, Midland, TX 79701. They will be staying at the Ramada Inn. This is also the weekend for the CAF Airsho. So the town will be packed with veterans. We can get some great publicity out of this, in Bush's home town. There will be some statewide media coming with the Caravan...probably some national media too. SO you can begin to spread the word.
If you would like to speak at this rally, we are still formulating the program, so let me know.
Down at HQ we have yard signs, bumper stickers and buttons. You can call down there at 685-3611 and ask for them. We also need more volunteers to answer the phone and make calls. Let us know what you can do do help change the country's direction. A vast majority agree with us that the nation is headed down the wrong path. We can change that! David Rosen
