2. Scarborough on MSNBC
just now stated that Dan Rather and CBS made a huge mistake going with the story when they did. The documents are forgeries. They should just apologize and get it over. Said if he or any other reporter made such a big mistake they would have been fired. They don't have the clout that Dan Rather does. Geese, didn't Joe get the memo? Will they ever stop spinning for this White House?

8. Scarborough? Mr. RNC?
Last night he posed the question, "should Kerry just give up now?" since the (fake) polls showed the chimp so far ahead and just beloved by ALL!

3. Nice Job!

I thought Rather held himself very well!

Of course CNN made the unbelievable comment that Rather was campaigning for the Kerry camp......WTF....CNN does nothing but promote Bush.

Cheers,
Kim :toast:

4. I just saw that....
...he was excellent. Yet Wolfie et al will pursue it to death. Whores all. That's what they are....I still contend Paw-Lah Zahn is the worst one of them all, with Candeeee Crow-leeee a close second.

Even Wolfie just asked why the pResident (sic) won't come out and just answer the questions and if THIS isn't relevant, why is what John Kerry did relevant?

5. YEAH!! I watched Dan on Cnn just now. I think Rove is in a corner.
Dan isn't going to talk like that without certainty. Ginsberg is now dancing a real fast jig to get out from under this, but it's not fgoing to work!

Dan is supposed to have further info on this on CBS news. I'm sure going to watch.

16. He sounded great!
He was sure and wouldn't brook any suggestion that CBS investigate further and possible retract its story. Reminded me of the Rather of old who wouldn't take any crap. Loved it.

15. Ben Ginsberg...Rove's pal.. RE:CA recall....
....Ginsberg and others met with Issa in December after we had just re-elected Davis...to plan strategy for the recall effort using Issa's money. Then, after Issa accomplished their dirty work for them they told him HE couldn't be the one to run, instead they had chosen Ahnuld. In fact, Pete Wilson is now running CA into the ground behind the scenes.

Ginsberg is a sleazebag of the highest order.

The higher the monkey climbs, the more you can see of his ass!

14. Dan INSISTED that his reporting (docs) is totally accurate,
and said, NO, there isn't any internal CBS investigation or any other kind of "investigation."

He really stood his ground. Amazing.

18. CBS is being inundated with hate e-mail
and it's time for all good DU'ers to take action in letting them know you support them.

I e-mailed them my support and the reasons why I appreciated there efforts to get the truth out here when it has become obvious that there is a lotta powerful entities attempting to suppress it.

I received a response almost immediately thanking me and letting me know about the hate e-mail and telephone calls. They stand by their report and will not back down.

Start your engines!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edited on Fri Sep-10-04 05:47 PM by ikojo
To the folks at CBS News,

I want to thank you for your thorough reporting on the Killian memo. It takes courage and fortitude to stand up to bullies. CBS News has done some good reporting of late and I have switched my news source from NBC to CBS due to the in depth reporting being done by the journalists at CBS.

Please keep up the good work. Only a well informed citizenry can make good decisions on November 2. I look forward to being informed by CBS News.

20. I wonder if this experience has truly ticked off Mr Rather
If it has then, perhaps he will encourage other CBS reporters to pursue other Bush stories that have been squelched by the media and the white house.
