Let 'em fight! Swiftboat Liars and AWOL need settling.

We'll have the issues debate after these cowardly, draft dodging Bushie sacks of crap have their asses kicked through their shoulder blades.

If they want a fight over honor, truthfulness, manhood, duty, personal strength, a virtuous life, let's have one. I'd stack Kerry up against Bush any day ... ANY DAY. And Edwards up against the cracked, drunk driving, war hawk, draft dodger Cheney? Bring it on.

You can't keep screaming "Let's debate the issues" until the other side stops kicking sand in your face. Deck 'em. Then we'll talk.

on edit: added "truthfulness"

1. Well, I'm all for decking them, but they're like Weebles.

They wobble but they don't fall down. They will just come up with some other non-issue, and we'll be off to the races again.

2. I don't think so.
If they win the fight, they'll do it again. If they lose, and Bush gets his nose bent, it's over. We know we have the issues on our side. But it won't help if they are perceived as winning the fight.

People are watching. You can't refuse to fight. If you fight and win and the other side tries to fight again, you are in a position to laugh at them and say "Why don't we talk about the issues now little feller?" But if you try to excuse yourself from the fight, regardless of your good reasons (important issues have to be discussed) you lose for yourself and for the issues.

3. I'd like to see Kerry & the chimp
go head to head on just the issues you mention. I suspect they'd both get bloodied but there is no doubt Kerry come out on top at the finish and chimpy is gonna look like the creep ass loser that he is.

4. Well, you have a point.
But Bush has a pretty formidable ally in the US media. They have inexplicably destroyed the free press in this country. We don't have a chance to bend Bush's nose, and therein lies the problem. We must fight at every turn, but when your best blows aren't conveyed to the public, you've gained nothing. Wish we could beat the crap out of the media. They are the real enemy.
