I don't mean to be crude about Barack and Michelle, but....
Edited on Sat Nov-15-08 08:40 PM by Jackeens_for_Obama
From Newsweek: "There was no doubting their physical attraction. Reporters liked to snicker at how much looser the candidate seemed after spending the occasional night at home or on the road with his wife."

Meanwhile....the ad before the CBS extract from tomorrow's 60 Minutes interview with Barack and Michelle is for: Viagra.

Inappropriate ad placement.

Just saying.

34. Meh. It's not as big a deal if you have decent health insurance and good doctors.
As First Lady, she'll have the absolute best of both. I admit, it would make me feel very warm and fuzzy inside if Michelle chooses to have another baby while she's the First Lady. But I doubt it will happen. The job of being First Lady is tough, and the schedule is insane. I remember have exhausted I felt every day during the first 2-3 months of my pregnancy. I can't imagine going through that while trying to fulfill First Lady duties at the same time.

Still, stranger things have happened. :)

30. That is so funny I have to tell you guys something
I have a joke with a guy I know about Dick Cheney. I was really attracted to this guy, but didn't want to go there, for various reasons. We are friends only and I am determined to keep it that way. But sometimes just thinking about him, well, you know... SO anyway, I told him, that if I started thinking about him too much that way, I would have to take my equivalent of a cold shower... go home and look at a picture of the sneering, snarling Dick Cheney. So now when this guy calls me, my cell phone has the image of Dick Cheney that comes up with his call, and it has really worked. One day he said he thought I looked so hot that he would need to get his own poster of Dick Cheney. Try it if you need it, it is better than a cold shower!

But I suppose Barack and Michelle are the only couple in national politics that I could bear to see naked.

14. They will set a good example for everyone.
Maybe by watching them, people will try harder in their marriages.

When ever I watched Cindy McCain around them during the debates, she always looked sad and had such a lonesome expression on her face. It wasn't jealousy, it was just an expression of heartbreak over what she did not have.

What racist shit. Newsweek would never print something like that about a white politician.

21. They had a lot of passionate sex.
So what?

Is that a bad thing?

Does it really matter?

Barack won, he will be president, and what Michelle and Barack do in their bedroom is none of our business.

25. Ah people, everyone needs to lighten up!
Why can't we just take even a pinch of joy from the fact the President Elect and his wife are crazy about each other?

Is what happens between them in private their business? Absolutely! Nobody else's.

But was that line in Newsweek outrageous? In my very humble opinion no, all it did was confirm that the President Elect and his wife ARE crazy about each other, and being with her invigorates him. If you want to take that as solely meaning 'sexually', well, okay - I take it as more than that, that if his spirits are low, if he needs reviving, then spending time in his wife's company lifts him up.

If that involves, well, intimacy, so be it - that's their business, but let's just rejoice in the fact that these two people have something special. Most of us crave such a relationship.

27. i don't think Barack needs Viagra, but then again, I don't care about tht part of his life.
it's his and hers.

but I do care about hyopcrisy. when the janet jackson boob thing 'happend' - commercials included during that event were for booze and viagra. but breasts are evil incarnate.
