"If he had his way, Saddam Hussein would still be in power and
"...would still be a threat to the world!"

Saddam may have still been in power but he would not have been a threat to the world. Our country would be better served if Mr Bush stopped lying about this. They have nothing, absolutely nothing, to show that Saddam was a threat to America or his neighbors. If he recalls, there were no WMDs found.

Could someone please call him on this lie?????

2. Hell, Kuwait wasn't even in the Coalition of the Willing
You would think that they might be the first ones to come to the table, if they thought that Saddam was a real threat.

The thing about Saddam was that he was brutal and certainly not a Nobel Peace Prize candidate, but he had something to lose: power. So he wasn't going to do anything stupid and cost himself power. He was boxed in, spied on, watched like a hawk, etc. Now in his place you have a whole bunch of clusters of insurgents and radicals who have nothing to lose, and would be perfectly happy to blow themselves up to wipe out an Army squadron. And we can't invade them militarily and remove them from power, because they have none. They are de-centralized.

3. Saddam Hussein was such a threat...
that exactly zero of his neighbors were worried enough about him to go to war against him. Didn't we have to bribe Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to get permission to use their land as staging areas?

4. And now we have over 1000 Americans dead because Saddam.....
was such a threat. All because of the lies and delusions of George W Bush.

5. Why don't we turn the tables on Bush?
All this yakking by Bush about Saddam shows just how irrationally fixated Bush and Cheney were with Saddam. He had no WMDs. He had no Al Qaeda ties. He had an easily defeated military that was no threat to anyone. Bush and Cheney need to take their medication. Anyone who thinks the Iraq war was about Cheney "finishing what he left undone in 1992" and Bush defending the guy who tried to "kill his daddy" is ... RIGHT.

6. Hey Bozo Bush
Kerry gave you the "authorization" remember? It's Howard Dean you are railing against.

But c'mon Kentuck, you know Saddam had programmes of weapon related activities going. It was only a matter of time. Like 20 years or so. That's what made it so imminent.

Meanwhile in Afghanistan.....
