Bush promises 'seamless' transition to Obama
Bush has lied about everything for 8 years - who the hell would believe him now?
He sat on the bailout for 6-8 months so it could be dumped on the next president. That's his idea of 'seamless'

Bush promises G20 leaders of 'seamless' transition to Obama<\b>

President George W. Bush said Saturday he vowed to leaders of the world's biggest economies that the United States would enjoy a "seamless" transition to the new team of president-elect Barack Obama.

"I told the leaders this: that president-elect Obama's transition team has been fully briefed on what we intended to do here at this meeting," Bush told reporters after an economic crisis summit of the Group of 20 nations.

"I told them that we will work tirelessly to make sure the transition between my administration and his administration is seamless," he said.

"I told them that I hope he succeeds."

2. He didn't lie on everything

His statement that he would bring America together turned out to be true.

Republicans and Democrats were united in condeming his administration and both parties were united in running against him.

3. I am tempted to say that I don't want "seamless" - I want great gaping rifts and
chasms that cause the Junta to scream and cringe and cower in fear of the future. Which does not, of course, mean that I want the Obama team hampered and deliberately undermined by the ousted Regime, but since we know that will be their aim anyway...

8. I Don't Know
When he addressed the G20, Bush looked ... scared, and pretty hopeless. I suspect that the last 2-3 years in particular have been an unending nightmare for him as well as everything he tried to do blew up in his face. Not that I feel sorry for him, but I think he honestly believed for a while that he would have a "legacy", and knowing that he's walking in the footsteps of Calvin Coolidge has definitely awakened at least a glimmering of reality.

Cheney, on the other hand, is likely doing everything he can to destroy evidence, and no doubt is stealing every "O" and "B" on every computer he can get to.

11. Can Bush just resign and let Obama take over?
Seems like these next two months are going to be critical to our economy and Bush appears totally out of it. He is the lamest of lame ducks and has zero credibility and zero influence. We need Obama now.
