Co-Owns New Mexico Ranch with Dan Rather, among others: You would think, especially after Saddam's capture, that Rumsfeld could pack it in, go out on top and settle down in that ranch in Taos, N.M., that he co-owns with, among others, Dan Rather, TIME reports.

I read on another thread that Rather had professional run-ins with the Bushies in the past and this ranch set up looks like he's at least pals with Rumsfeld. I don't know anything about it other than this one blurb and haven't seen anything about it in any other publication. -Maybe it's a time share and they never cross paths!

But just this week, gee-dub announced a plan to give the CIA director some budgetary control. Will that be some of the 80 billion that is in Rumsfeld's DoD intellegence budget? Any chunk of that kind of money would represent an enormous amount of power....transferred FROM Rumsfeld TO the CIA director.
