Average bounce of 4. Similar to what Kerry got.

The only poll that could possibly look "bad" is the ABC/WP where Bush is up 9 among LV and 6 among RV. And the same poll has Bush up only 4 in the only states that matter: the ones that could go either way.

I've never seen so many tears shed over being down 4% on in the polls seven weeks before an election. At this point, Gore was behind by 8 nationally - but he ended up winning the popular vote.

Pissed off democrats are going to turn out in droves on Nov 2 and tons of embarrassed Republicans are going to stay home and watch The Bachelor.

1. All the news shows are doing their best

to give the impression it's all over. Bush has got in the bag. Makes me sick. I've stopped watching the news. Hell, all I have time to do is watch for the next hurricane.

3. They like a horse race - sells ads

I predict they'll have Kerry overtake Bush and then leading up to the election, Bush gaining, and then in the last week and a half "It';s anybody's ballgame. Stay tuned and watch more commercials for more bullshit."

Not many people are like you and watch less ads.
