1. Quick response - direct and concise
This is how Clinton ran his campaign in 1992. Don't let the pugs define him. Don't try to take the high road. If needed, get in the gutter with them, but do it in a smart way.

Take every topic that they raise and run with it.

I don't think that spending too much energy on what happened 30 years ago - to both of them - matters too much for many voters. What matters is the most recent past and the future. These elections are a referendum on this administration.

3. I think he should attack Bush's phoney image.
Bush and the press would have you believe that he's some straight-shooter, tough guy, common man. Kerry should show Bush for the lying, wimpy, spoiled brat that he is. Bush is a poser. Kerry is the real deal.

12. It's not hard if you use your imagination a little
Lies- Bush lied us into the war in Iraq. Where are the WMDs that we were told about? Several administration officails said they were absolutely positive that Saddam had WMDs. If BushCo wasn't lying, then they are incompetent. Bush constatntly tells us that the economy is improving. Yet the stock market is stagnant and we still have millions of people who became unemployed under Bush. The DNC has been hitting on this one and I think they should keep doing so.

Wimpy- Contrast the mission accomplished photo op with Bush's real military record while he was in the guard. Also say something about Bush having it easy here state side while thousands of people were spilling their blood in Vietnam. Maybe even suggest that a few strings were pulled to get him in the guard over serving in Vietnam.

Spoiled brat- Bush has never had to do an honest day's work in his life. He's led the life of a priveledged elitist. He trys to talk like Mr. Blue Collar Guy, but he has nothing in common with the working class and middle class people. In fact he wants to screw them over every chance he gets.

Now I'm just a dumb trucker. I'm sure there are people a whole lot smarter than me that could come up with a lot more on attacking Bush's image. A lot of people will vote for Bush just because they think he's a nice guy. I've heard that myself more than once. Where does that perception come from? It certainly isn't consistent with his policies. It must be something else. Could it be this bullshit image of him that we are constantly being subjected to? I think so.

4. Kick Bush in the balls
And when he stops screaming, kick him in the balls again. Keep focused on the issues that will frame our future and give people a positive, hopefully vision.

5. Get out the VOTE

In the swing states, we need to get out the existing Democractic voters. If we do a better job of getting out the vote, we win.

Forget about appeals to the undecided. Focus on the base.

Talk about the economy, healthcare, the real issues.

Downplay terrorism. How many people do you know personally that were victims of terrorism? Seriously, it's a concern but it is not something the average american should live in fear of.

8. Turn the tables
Hit them back with each argument...those from Bush and Cheney...and turn it back on them. Short and sweet. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am. Then restate again his policies, ideas, and plans for the future that get the country back on track and moving forward.

Let the surrogates hit back the nasty barrage of attacks. Let them respond and make sure they are listening to Kerry. Make sure they are creating the echo chamber for him.

Expose the flim flam man.

9. I see the GOP ignore these questions so I don't see that working.
I see stuff coming at Pubs everyday lately and I see them scrabbling, so much so that the media has had little time to say anything against Kerry. I like that.

10. Keep hitting them
Now that team bush is on the defensive, just keep hitting them. We've got tons of things we can use. Every day we have to show how this administration has been a complete failure. We can use issues like the environment, jobs, health care, etc. Throw in another scandal every once and a while, and we'll have the bush team scrambling to defend themselves from all sides. At the same time, however, Kerry needs to be sure to get his own ideas out there, and needs to express them very clearly.

If Kerry can present a vision of hope, while bush is constantly struggling to defend his own actions, we should win in a landslide.

14. The party and the 527s--not JK--must tear Bush a new one.
They must relentlessly attack Bush as the liar and flip-flopper and incompetent and irresponsible jackass he truly his.

They must relentlessly go after him on his claims to be a strong, decisive leader. They must destroy his illusion of being a competent wartime president.

What we're doing now WILL NOT CUT IT. In the end, we've got to take Bush apart to win.

19. What?
If I interpret correctly you question, you are asking how to go about tearing Bush a new one?

Okay, you start by putting a picture of Bush's head on two sides of a windvane. Stick the windvane in the sand in front of the NYC skyline. The TV camera starts at a distance then moves in closer on Bush's pic as the voice over says something like:

A President must be strong and decisive.
George Bush pretends he is.
But the record shows he is indecisive and wrong-headed.
Though he was warned many times about terrorist threats, he decided to do nothing. Until nine-eleven.
<<weathervane flips around>>
When he finally began to pay attention to Osama Bin Laden.
He sent troops to Afghanistan to fight Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.
But then he decided to take the pressure off Bin Laden and
switch our attention to Saddam Hussein.
<<weathervane flips around>>
So the President pulled troops out of the hunt for the man who attacked America
<<weathervane flips around>>
And sent them to Iraq to defeat a different man. He soon said Mission Accomplished
<<weathervane flips around>>
And then said it would soon be over
<<weathervane flips around>>
And said it would cost nothing
<<weathervane flips around>>
And said the world would support us
<<weathervane flips around>>
Now he says he was right all along -- even though Al Qaeda is stronger than ever and Bin Laden is still on the loose.
<<weathervane flips continuously>>
Is this the kind of leadership you want for America for another 4 years?
Don't be fooled.
Vote to send George Bush back to Texas.

while others stand in long lines at the unemployment offices, while computers whirling in India and others sitting at the dinner table trying to decide how to pay for health care.
