Media are not using document side-by-side analysis
I see the televised authenticity debate is back to the same old bullshit- i haven't seen any journalist this morning show CBS' side-by-side comparision of the Guard memo (superscripted "111th") and an old IDENTICAL Guard record which was part of the WH document dump. Juan Williams, who defended their authenticity did not even bring up this irrefutable point.

Do these fucking idiots think all of us have collective amnesia?

I guess reporting that evidence would be too conclusive and end the debate right there... it serves their interests to keep this dispute going.

1. My tinfoil hat is firmly in place, but...
I have a feeling that the odd document (forgery, if you will) is the DoD discharge letter (the one released earlier by the White House).

It seems to me to be the one with the "different" signature.

I wouldn't put it past George W.'s flying monkeys to forge honorable discharge documents for him!

3. No need to fake that.
There are criminals and AWOL NGs who got honorable discharge papers.

Don Imus told listeners about getting in trouble, including punching a sergeant, while in the Marines. His superiors told him they'd give him an honorable discharge on one condition – that he promise not to re-enlist.

In fact, according to Separation and Retirement Procedures for today's Air National Guard, those eligible for honorable discharge include people who fail to comply with requirements for a medical examination; who abuse drugs; who have unsatisfactory participation; or whom the service is unable to locate. Nobody knows under what rubric Lt. Bush was discharged.
