Kerry Would Have Caught Bin Laden

Re: Kerry Would Have Caught Bin Laden; Bush Let Him Escape.

Bush is a terrible leader in the war on terror. In 2001, Bin Laden was cornered in Tora Bora. Bush inexcusably and inexplicably sent Afghans instead of American troops to get him. Does that make sense? Would a strong leader make such a stupid decision? We all know what happened: Bin Laden escaped, he slipped through our fingers. It is now 2004; Bin Laden is still free, building and strengthening his forces. John Kerry's leadership would have had American troops get Bin Laden. John Kerry has told us this many times. Now that makes sense, send the best people in to capture Bin Laden. Sounds like leadership. That is just one example of how Kerry would have led us differently than George Bush. There are many more examples, yet they are not reported. No matter how many times Bush says he is a leader, no matter how many times the media repeats these statements without questioning them, the truth is this: Bush has failed us. He failed us before 9/11 when didn't listen to Richard Clarke, when he chose to chop brush in Texas during August rather than lead efforts in Washington to address known threats of airline hijackings; he failed us by letting the trapped Bin Laden escape in Tora Bora, he failed us by sending American troops into Iraq to fight a war over WMD when he knew the WMD evidence was suspect, he failed us by spending $200 billion dollars in Iraq, after telling us Iraq's oil would pay for reconstruction, and he failed Americans by not bringing together a real coalition of allies to successfully win the war on terror. Whether Americans get the truth before this election or after it, the truth will come out: George Bush is not a leader. John Kerry is a leader.

1. I'm convinced Bush let him get away
Our military is too good to have blown it.
Bush tied their hands.

2. Completely Agree
Perhaps Bush let him get away so Bush could pursue the war on terror - as long as Bin Laden is out there, the war on terror is alive.

3. When Bush decided to attack Iraq......
He pretty much abandoned the war on terror. He diverted money from first responders AND the afghanistan operation to use for planning Iraq. He also had big promises about "Roads, schools, hospitals" in Afghanistan but instead defunded it all. Bush long ago abandoned the war on terror.

11. He was so consumed with Iraq, he WOULDN'T deploy
the troops, equipment, and funds necessary to get bin Laden.

He was saving them for his little war game fantasy in Iraq.

4. Hell, I could've caught bin Laden! There is a whole lotta
crap that the Rumsfeld Co-Conspirators will never come clean on (except maybe at gun point, which is a good idea).

The thing is, this Bush crew is such a bunch of miserable failures, who knows how badly they've screwed up any "Secret Plans" they had.

Enemies of the State---every one of them. They will soon get theirs !!!!

5. But Bush DID Catch Him....
He just hasn't trotted him out yet. Wait till mid-October, closer to Election Day, and you will wake up some crisp October morn to the headline, Osama Captured!!
And enough of the american people are stupid enough to believe that he actually was captured...and not that he was captured two years ago, and has been sitting on ice all this time.

It's all about the poll bounce, baby!! Bush don't wanna shoot his load too early, if you can dig it!

Also, watch for gasoline prices to start plummeting right now...only to go back up to unbelievable levels after Nov. 2 if Bush wins...watch and see if I'm not right!

6. Kerry would have
sent more troops to catch Osama than there are cops in Manhattan. Unlike Bush.

7. He would have caught him....and then
he would have followed the money trail, caught a whole network or two and we would be engaged in Muslim countries in serious dialogue with the moderates on how to counter the appeal of radical Islam.

Because that is what a LEADER would have done.

9. If we hadn't illegally, immorally invaded Iraq, bin Laden would be toast.
Al-Qaeda could be an non-entity by now.

As I heard a comedian say:

"Who COULDN'T catch a 6'6" man in sandals dragging a dialysis machine through the desert?"

10. We
did not fight that war, warlords and that crack bunch the Northern Alliance fought that war. After we bombed the Afghan civilians for a month. We didn't want to get bogged down in a quagmire like Iraq so we could go fight a needless war in Iraq. My head hurts.

12. Yeah, and now we have the Northern alliance to clean up the mess.
Ugh.

They are only a half-century ahead of the Taliban.

13. 9/11 wouldn't have happened with Kerry in the first place
He would have read the Hart-Rudman report. He would have listened to Richard Clarke.

Very simple.

Bush failed to protect the country on 9/11 ANY WAY you look at it.
