Dick ?? ... The same could be said some 4 years ago, when we also had a choice ....
This nation wound up being lead by an extremist party bent on kleptocracy and plutocracy ... a party willing to ignore the signs of impending attack, and go on extended, undeserved vacations ....
On August 6th of 2001, THIS Administration read a memo that was quite clearly titled: "Al Qaeda Determined to Strike in US" ...
What did they do ? .... THEY SKIPPED TOWN .....
They fished .....
They ... 'cleared brush' ....
For a month ..... a FUCKING MONTH ! ....
On 9-11-2001 ... President Bush and Vice President Cheney were tanned and rested after their lengthy sabbaticals .... and watched as the very attacks of which they were warned, of which they ignored .... they watched those very attacks occur ....
They had denied the Hart-Rudman Report ... They had denied Richard Clarke a voice in their tight inward-thinking circle ... they had from the start executed a plan to attack Iraq ... They denied a 58 million dollar increase in anti-terrorism funding ... EVERYTHING they could have done: they didnt do ....
They utterly and completely ignored the very threat which was placed into their laps since the week they took office ....
Yes: we had a choice in 2000: we could have voted for a president who would have protected us, or one who wouldn't protect us ....
George Bush ? ... Dick Cheney ? ... YOU were selected to lead this nation in 2000: YOU had an obligation to protect our nation : an obligation which you miserably failed to fulfill ....

We were hit because YOU failed your duty ..... Stop trying to foist that responsibility onto anyone else's shoulders ....
There was only one President on 9-11-2001: and his name was George W. Bush .... We were attacked when George W. Bush ignored overwhelming evidence of an acute threat to our nation .... that lack of action is unconscionable ...
You are both goddamned liars and hypocrites .... You do NOT deserve to lead this nation ....
George Bush did NOT keep us safe ... he had already failed to do so ....
We will not be safe with George W. Bush as President of the United States of America .... That is a PROVEN FACT ....
