Republicans agree that Bush is discredited
The Republicans clearly wanted to discredit the Killian documents because they believed that those documents discredited Bush.

It's been established beyond reasonable doubt that those documents are authentic, so doesn't that mean that the Republicans now agree with the Democrats that those documents discredit Bush?

even after the documents are proven real, it will never be admitted by republicans.

2. The Repubs voting for * knew at the beg. of the year that * went
AWOL. They just don't care.

Why they are so mad about these new attacks against * is that it may interfere with his new polling numbers, and it may get some traction with undecideds and independents, who weren't paying much attention earlier in the year when this was discussed. Heh heh heh heh heh.

Fight fire with fire, that's what I say. I don't even care if the docs are authentic. I think it's good to be talking about *'s lack of active military service, and his lies about it, again.

4. No, because they have known all along that he was an empty suit
These stories were out there last election.

When the party chose Bush over McCain, a true war hero, with foreign policy experience, more intelligence, etc. it proved they wanted a clueless puppet. They knew he would cut taxes, help businesses, & implement the policies that would help the powers-that-be.

They fooled the voters in 2000, & have worked very hard for 4 years to keep the people fooled. Sadly, half the country is dumb enough to want to stay fooled.

5. They sure went berserk
over just a couple more bricks in the wall.

Our guys were calling the memos lame. We'd been hoping for something really devastating. The pugs have MADE them devastating.

6. These are one issue voters.
They don't give a f*ck and would vote for both Satan and the antiChrist if they pledged love for the all the unborn fetuses (while massacreing sentient beings in some far off country so they could feel safe, I might add). Or they'll vote for guns. These aren't exactly the brightest people on the planet.

7. The gloves don't fit; you must acquit
It doesn't matter that the gloves fit; they don't fit.

Republicans constantly bellyache that the media picks on them, even though they own it and play it like the mighty Wurlitzer. CNN is saying this morning that document experts say that they could only make a conclusive pronouncement if they had the original document AND the typewriter it was written on. Tainted document tainted document evil forgery evil forgery proof of Democrat lies; the base can't be swayed, but the crossovers can be.

What needs to be done now is find other CYA memos--perhaps one about James Bath--that will show Killian as having done such things, and find similar documents from the same typewriter. The battle has been joined now, and it has to be vigorously fought. If it's dropped, the right will turn it against us and it will be repeatedly drummed into our heads that they're forgeries and proof of our evil.
