Just on TV, the Monent of Silence Ceremony showed a very serious First Couple standing outside the White House in a cut a way. When the Moment is finished they walk away. Bush puts his hand around Laura waist...then slowly lowers his hand to pat her ass...not once but many times...

How inappropriate to do this at such a time is most revealing...

He prolly thought the TV Cameras was off.

Glad you mentioned that, as I saw him perform that act either prior to election or after during a large function and wondered why no one made some remark. That is an arrogant act in my opinion. Just watched the video. It's a stretch to call it a pat on the ass. Both he and Laura patted each other while walking back to the WH (I'm sure it was planned). Their hands were basically waist high. Was more of a "comforting" gesture, though Bush's hand strayed a bit lower near the end.

Of course if it was a Democrat this incident would end up getting talked about for hours and hours by the RW media, how it revealed the president's lack of character, the late show comics would make jokes about it....
