The Jackpine Poll Prediction:
By the end of the week, Kerry will be leading in the polls & Roveco will be frantic again. And that's with no Kitty Kelley anti-bounce figured in yet because her book won't be out yet.

The Sy Hersh book, devastating as it is in its real-world implications, will have little or no effect at this time, although it will be important later in October when people are starting to dance on the grave of the Bush "re"-election campaign.

Why should you believe the Jackpine Poll Prediction?
Well, why not?

1. Because we are dealing with the likes of KKK Rove and they still
have a large bag of dirty tricks to play.

2. I don't see why it 's any less believable than the rest of them. Maybe
even moreso than some.

Bush will be tied with Kerry by week's end.
Bush's "Bounce" is nothing more than a Time/NewsweAk fabrication. They just need to "tweak" their polls so that they are consistant with reality.

3. I can get on board with this, JR! Just read a new Newsweek poll that...

cut *'s post-convention bounce down to a 6% lead. (And this was conducted last week.)

So there's every (good) reason that, by the end of the upcoming week, Rove will indeed be sweating bullets.

4. We'll be tied, not ahead
by weeks end.

Otherwise agree.
