I never gave to anyone campaign or any party till this year.

I did this only because i know this is one if not the most important election i my lifetime, the stakes are so huge. The Supreme court, democracy, the constitution and life as we know it in America is at stake.

I gave 100.00 to Dean
I gave 35 X 2 to DNC....I do no care much for them but hate RNC more.
I gave 100 X 3 to Kerry about once till time ran out.

I only make about 36 k a year so this is not frivolous money.

I do not want any favors with such little money involved it does not matter but what does matter is that Bush/GOP go down in defeat.

out of a failing business and net income down 45% since last year

I have NEVER given to a political organization before this year BTW

2. In the primaries I gave to

Dean, Clark, Braun, Kucinich and some 527s then after the primary I gave to Kerry. But then I heard they were doubling contributions to the DNC during the RNC convention until Aug. 31, so I sent a whopping $225 because I couldn't give to Kerry's campaign anymore either. I also gave to a list of underdog Senators since then AND my local Dem HQ and a Dem fighting an incumbent in my district for the House. I'm done for at least a month! I don't make very much either and my husband lost his job in February and has been holding a temporary full-time job since then at half the pay.

I also became my precinct's vice-chair today! I might also go to Ohio and help with the campaign there if I can find someone to go there with.

Whew! I've only just begun!
