To: Theodore R.

I don’t believe this...especially in States like Ohio. where, now if all this campaign finance, foreign influence and birth issue is obvious....then, I do believe that Conservative Democrats will be more loyal to our country than to the Charisma.

We can campaign for their votes, even at this hour.

There is the possibility for some movement.

I think once the truth comes out about Obama’s citizenship status, a number of electors pledged to him will shift to McCain. So, we will have a McCain/Palin administration after all.

Even if (this is just a hypothetical of course), Obama's citizenship nonsense had legs, the Obama electors would just vote for Biden as President.....

That's why they are clinging to any thread of hope that they can find. This is the result of the destructive politics of the right. It's funny but it's also sad and frightening.

powers who've positioned this "Obama" character into the White House; they, whoever they are, posted a plant into the Honolulu hospital to plant a birth announcement in the local paper a week after his "American birth"........Brilliant! Chilling, but Brilliant!

8. Maybe they'll try to prove that Hawaii was never really a state!
Here's an idea for them: They could try to comb through congressional records to try to find some technicality that makes the granting of Hawaii's statehood in 1959 Null and Void. And retroactively revoke it! So when Barack Obama was born in 1961, he wasn't born in the U.S. after all!

26. And on that point ...
Courtesy of Wikipedia:

"Despite some opposition in the islands, the Newlands Resolution was passed by the House June 15, 1898, by a vote of 209 to 91, and by the Senate on July 6, 1898, by a vote of 42 to 21, annexing Hawaii as a U.S. territory. Its legality continues to be questioned because it was a United States Government resolution, not a treaty of cession or conquest as is required by international law."

This is my gift to lurking freepers. They should take it and run with it! :D

27. The way I understand it, a bunch or white settlers (descendents of missionaries-go figure) deposed
the native Hawaiian monarch with the help of the U.S. Marines and set up the annexation process. So yes, it likely was highly illegal under international law. But since when do Freeptards care about international law? In any case, the annexation was never successfully challenged so I would guess it is a moot ("mute" for you lurking Freeptards) point anyway.

33. Because....
This whole nonsense developed between the Freepers and the PUMAs. Berg himself is a disgruntled Clinton fan, and most of his arguements come from the blog of "TexasDarlin". (he even said at one point that a "Texas Gal" helped him with the case.) His initial lawsuits were trying to force the DNC to decertify Obama before the convention and go with a "vetted candidate", i.e. Sen. Clinton.

There's a lot of the PUMA's used kitty litter in these lawsuits.

30. Yeah, that will go over well.
The voters think that they've elected the President and then the Electoral College contradicts them...

Yes, it's perfectly constitutional, just a really bad idea, and liable to piss off not only the 50 Million+ voters who voted for Obama, but a fair number of Republicans as well (the precious few who think) who will realize that what could be done to Obama, could be equally turned against them later.

The only positive development I could see from such a fiasco is that it might finally motivate folks to circular filing the whole electoral college system.

44. Sure, like that's likely, don't the campaigns themselves name their most loyal followers as electors
And even if the electors did vote a different way, I don't think it's even guaranteed that their decision would stand in today's society. The media would be all over how a group of 500+ is taking away the will of the American people, and there would be lawsuits and riots all over the place. Even people who supported another candidate would admit that Obama should be president if the electoral college voted against him.

I mean just look at plenty of other countries where one side lost an election and somehow 'stole' it, by keeping power anyway or illegally taking power anyway, most would descend into chaos if something like that happened.

They are the minority, they have always been the minority and they will continue to be the minority. It is a myth that this country has neoconservatives majority, it doesn't.

Why do you think repukes lie, cheat and steal all the time? Its not only because it is in their programming to do so, it is also because they know they are the minority. Did you stop to ask yourself, when they had control of everything, why are they still so angry? They have to keep up the rhetoric in order to maintain a false dominance. THEY ARE THE MINORITY & HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE MINORITY.
