I think that NBC made a very bad error in giving him Russert's chair. I will never forget David Gregory dancing merrily with Karl Rove. he is an idiot, a total tool and sadly without any talent. he will be a failure as host of MTP and mark my words, his ratings will sink and by Labor day next year expect Rachel Maddow to take over the show. I can tolerate George Stephanopoulos and even like seeing Cokie and George Will eat crow, especially now that Obama is the new President. Bye bye MTO, Hello THis Week.

1. I'm going to be a contrarian and go with "Face the Nation"......
Sure, the host is as old as dirt, when watching him I feel like I'm living in the 80s, but I can just sleep right through it!

3. He's the only one I could even stomach. Haven't watched ANY ABC
show since that faux debate in the spring. And I will not watch Gregory. Ever.

2. They need to go back to the format they had years ago with a
panel of journalists. I still wouldn't want gregory in that group. What a jerk! I can't stand him at all. With not too many choices in the "professional journalism" category, it would be nice to have a panel.

4. The show should be centered around the guest, not the host.

The new format made the host the *star* of the show. The original format was MUCH better. Plus it fit the title as the guest would actually "Meet the Press" instead of "Meet the Russert".

5. Gwen Ifill would have been a better choice. No Gregory or MTP for me.
Guess it's Face the Nation or bust. I refuse to watch ABC or Snuffles after the shoddy Spring debate Snuffles and Gibson hosted.

6. If you're gonna hate Gregory, the dancing with Karl Rove thing is a ridiculous reason
And I do hate him, but I'll always defend him for that because he couldnt exactly say no.

7. Not only do I hate him for the Rove Dance but because he is a Yes man,
and has not demonstrated any ability in his Show 1600 Dead-end Avenue to be original, innovative or a serious journalist

13. If you watched, he couldnt say no
He was hand-picked by the Entertainment from Whose Line is it Anyway, Colin Mockerie was one, Brad Sherwood may be the other. He was picked and so was another guy from the front row NBC table. He was in a room full of his peers and he didnt know what they were going to ask him to do. They asked him to be backup dancers, and he did it. I dont see what the big deal is.
