1. Are you kidding?

They've got seven weeks prior to the election. First of all they won't take any time off, secondly if they did their campaign staff and volunteers would wonder why they're busting their ass for these guy, etc.

Taking 15% of available time off will assure them a lot of vacation time come November.

2. Burn out can be a critical factor is all I trying to say
If they can handle it...fine... if the signs of exhaustion appears, its better to lose a day than the MAN.

3. I understand, but if you
were running for President, do you think you would take any time off down the stretch? One day off would send a message loud and clear that you're not in this 100% or, if exhausted from campaigning, how are you going to fight the "war on terror" 24/7?

They'll find time to charge their batteries if necessary while still campaigning.

Of course, one of the reasons Vegas loves to see me coming is I'm wrong more times than right!

4. They'll have plenty of time
But not now. How about a few rallies with the faithful in NY, NJ, MA, CA, if they need an easy day. Massive Rallies will provide all the strength and refreshment they need.

5. That's why I keep wondering where the rest of the party leaders are...
are we just not hearing them screaming from the rooftops or are they not screaming?

We can't win this alone. This is the most unified the Democratic party has been in a long time -- let's get our leaders out there and shouting to be heard.

13. The G Roots must come forward and stand TALL, Be Counted
Edited on Sun Sep-12-04 05:45 PM by opihimoimoi
in a most MASSIVE MANNER to send a message we are PISSED....

The ROOTs have it in their GRASP. It is the ROOTs Turn to choose the Helms-Person....The affected Grass Roots, who feel most the pain of poor judgements/decisions, must unite in wanting to reallu turn things around with NEW Leadership....

The Bush Camp is not telling us the truth....only posivite stories of their tenure thus far. We don't hear enough of their FAILINGS, do we...?

We cannot wait for our leaders to tell us...we cannot afford that option. It is incumbant upon the GR they try the Positive side of the Magnet... the Neg side has been a big hurt for too many.

We must for starters, go with Kerry/Edwards. They offer the better odds for a better Future....period.

7. I hate sports analogies but it's much more tiresome to play defense
than offense. Screw responding. We must attack to win!

9. Someone suggested that they should
campaign together like before the convention and I say Yes!

They have good chemistry(as they should) and it should be exposed to the public more.

Yeah, they need the usual amount of rest between stops..you can't run on Empty!

11. Slow and steady wins the race. Kerry can refresh, reflect and mount an
energetic counter attack. Wes Clark heads a group of talented surrogates that can take up some of the lsack.

14. The slow/steady/small bite approach seems to be gaing
over the long haul. Now is not the time for mega mistake...

and, I agree, more footage of a Team Effort would be a Positive Sign.
