Kerry Flyering in Freeperland

Actually it was a pretty Freeper-heavy event...the Iron Man Triathlon in Madison. Lots of out-of-towners arrive for the event.

A buddy and myself handed out info on Kerry coming to Madison this Wednesday.

I actually witnessed a well-dressed man who looked like he might be a lawyer make pooping baby noises at me in disapproval of the event and Kerry. I told him it was open to the public and no loyalty agreement needs to be signed. I told others that disagreed that it was their chance to see the next President of the United States. Say that to the child of a Freeper mom if you need to get a good audio recording of a screaming woman.

All the nice people were for Kerry. The mean people were for Chimpy. I'd 75% of those I interacted with approved.

What was odd was seeing 20 year old hippy type dudes apparently liking Bush. I cannot fathom that level of stupidity.

As one who protested the Vietnam war and knew guys who got drafted, I can tell you that their attitude will change dramatically if that happens. But then it will be too late.

They were posers... plain and simple. I see that a lot - 20 something, retro cool-ies, who care more about the messenger than they do the message.

Good job though... keep handing out those fliers.
