1. He was a complete Jackass today...
...anfd I've noticed his show has been moved...(not a good sign from upstairs)...He has staked his ground on the "Kerry not being clear on Iraq issue". Now I understand why the Clinton's avoid him like the plague.

Heck a candidate is at most 3 or 4 points down in early Sept and they are ready to write him off.

Consider Tweety a Jerry Springer of Opinion show
He doesn't even call himself a news show. It's just him looking to get hot over a Republican in a flight suit.

5. Good question from Tweety
The answer is no, not as far as they're concerned - you can't win with any candidate as long as GE and whomever is vetting them...the 'fix' is in and the first aspect of that execution is to tell people that their guy is already a loser so that they'll switch their vote to be on the winning side. These guys are going to TRY to see to it that you can't win, but it is not our agenda - not this time.

We're gonna beat these bastards and have them eating crow.

22. I refuse to upgrade
because of two reasons:
1. It costs more money, and with a sick and unemployed husband, even five bucks can make a difference

2. I can substitute any station for one I have, so I'll consider Free Speech TV.

37. Do you have any idea
How long it took for me to figure out who Tweedy was.

I actually thought Matthews was okay when he went after John O'Neill. But he hopping down the Bushie bunny trail right now.

Some repubs I talk to like him and say he's fair and balanced.

I'd actually give that tag to Tim Russert on Meet The Press.

I'll just continue getting my news from The Onion, meself.

11. He is being HONEST. Heard about that. He added, "or could Kerry
have done it with the right team and .."

Was pretty reasonable given the August SwiftBoat debacle.

Fact that Kerry did not fire whoever failed to mount an immediate
rebuttal and counter-offensive in August indicates a major
problem.

Going against an incumbent is always hard. Will never understand
why Kerry campaign did not go for the kill during the Convention.

Edited on Sun Sep-12-04 07:02 PM by SoCalDem
Ask someone random..if they know who he is.. or if they have ever seen Hardball??

We tend to get riled up, because it MATTERS to us, but lots of people will go to the polls and will have never seen much on CNN/MSGOP or FOX..

Remember too, that lots of the people who voted for * in 2000 will NOT be voting for him this time, and probably EVERYONE who voted for Gore WILL vote for Kerry :)

38. Kerry's a gentleman
And they probably figured a negative campaign would go against the ones being negative. So they tried the high road, and got their butts shot.

I'm glad he's hitting harder now. I want more proaction and less reaction, though. We'll see. I still have faith.

she says "landslide" and says 12 --- 12 what? electoral votes? that isn't a landslide. 12 states? with California and NY going to Kerry, that likely wouldn't be a landslide either.

I'm going to back to The Daily Show as my source for TV news. I'm getting too mad and too stressed. I saw Tweety and thought the same thing. He's declaring it over? Asshole!

Anything I need to know I can learn right here, I figure. And if there's something worth seeing, someone with a better blood pressure reading will give a heads up. Like Wes Clark on Today. That was worth watching.

39. I really believe he has a personality disorder
or no control over his show whatsoever.

On Bill Mahrer he obviously leaned toward Kerry.
When he was on the Daily Show (after Zell Miller) he told John Stewart "you have the best show on television."

The fucker gets no ratings now, so why not tell the truth if you want a chance at "Daily Show-like" ratings?!

He has dissapointed me for the last time. After he went after the Swift Boat Liars I sent him a glowing e-mail. I think I will send him one final message that his split personality shtick of messing with the truth has worn off on me.
And I am done with his show(s).
