Went to a "Walk for Kerry" today!

I had a really good time, though I'm probably going to be sunburnt! It was in Orange County at a famous intersection called the Orange Circle. LOTS of visibility and traffic going by! We basically gathered all around the Circle and showed our signs to the people passing by. Mine said, "Save the Supreme Court! Vote Kerry/Edwards in '04". The theme was more "pro-Kerry" and not "anti-Bush", even though there was a separate group of anti-Bush people at the Circle as well. Lots of people had "Honk for Kerry" signs, and we got a LOT of honks today. Lots of thumbs up and waving as well. Very enthusiastic. Of course, we got a few negative reactions, which I actually enjoyed too. I just smiled and laughed at them. It's sort of like how pro wrestling villains enjoy getting "heel heat" from the crowd.

If any of you have the opportunity to go to a Kerry gathering, I would highly recommend it!
