JK Needs to Be on All 3 Sides of One Important Issue in the Debates..

There's one issue Bush is going to push thoughout the debates and if Kerry can juggle coming at it from 3 different sides, he can send the boy back to Texas.

Bush will take every opportunity to scream "TERRA" during the debates to make the public terrified of "terra"! It's all he has to run on. John needs to get 3 things across all at the same time:

1. He's Rambo who will protect America from terrorists as much or even more than the AWOL.

2. TELL the American people how Bush talks about protecting them from terror but has not done squat about it here at home---i.e., monies have not gotten to first responders, there's no coordinated planning, more money to Wyoming than NYC, etc. (Kerry can begin preparing for this right now by featuring Govenors and Mayors whom I've seen interviewed over the past year who are fuming that they haven't gotten what they need and are totally in the dark as to what they are to do, etc.)

3. (and this is the hardest)--while pitching #1 and #2, Kerry needs to get the public to spaz down about the "terror thing" and return it to the last on their list of important things like it was over the last two years until Bush started spewing about it last month. He needs to calm them down.....calm....calm.....relax.....and remind them that there are other important things domestically that could destroy their lives if not addressed.

If he can get this mixture across, the steam on Bush's only issue fizzles out.
