1. Sorry to burst your bubble but ....

all the sponsors of these bills are Democrats. Why? Because right now, with an all volunteer military, the only kids that are enlisting are, for the most part, poor and from areas with high unemployment. They enlist to earn money to go to college, or to simply have a job. If we reinstate the draft, with very limited deferments, our military will be at least somewhat more balanced.

I don't care who sponsors this, Kerry has gone on record saying he is against the draft, and he will veto this bill if it comes up while he is in office.
