Why I QUIT worrying about Kerry and his chances.
Well, for one thing it doesn't do any good.

But the other thing is that John Kerry is a good lawyer. He collects all of the evidence, he assembles all of the facts, and he evaluates all the implications. He is an extremely thoughtful man. (He actually has the intellect and the demeanor to solve some of our most pressing problems).

And, he is a closer. When the man gets in front of the jury, he will close the deal. He always has.

I'm not going to worry about it anymore.

3. Wise words, bth...
And the thoughts behind them are mighty wise, also.

I'm tired of worrying needlessly too, but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to work my tail off for Kerry, either!

Best -- :toast:

8. I'm confident too........
It will be nice to have a President that is actually smarter than me, for a change....I would find a great deal of comfort in that.

9. The lawyers are ace-------but is there a jury out there listening???
...that's the big concern I have. And in this case, the lawyers are arguing to a camera and the whore media is waiting to TELL the jury how to react and how to vote.

11. Good point....
and you may be right....but you also have to remember that one can make the case that before it gets to the jury it goes through the media....and the media will only tell the jury what the media wants the jury to hear....that was Gore's problem in 2000. Even though Gore clearly was better in the debates and had much deeper understanding of the issues the media whored for Bush after the debates saying that he won....
