The Sloganator: Got this email from a friend - FUNNY!
Earlier this month, the web site for the Bush-Cheney campaign - the
real one, paid for by MBNA America and Richard Scaife . featured a "create your own banner" tool, where you could enter your own slogan and print out your own poster, with the Bush-Cheney logo, and a note at the bottom "paid for by Bush-Cheney '04, Inc."

Democrats, of course, couldn't get enough of this. The original sloganator accepted everything, then it started censoring profanity and words like "Hitler" "dictator," and "evil".

Nevertheless, many clever folks exploited the sloganator to their own ends before its sad demise only a couple of weeks after its birth, and its mourners assembled some of the best for the slide show. The link below is best enjoyed with the sound on:

3. we can detain you, you know
A friend from Texas sent that to me a while ago. I embarrassed myself laughing at that while at work. The Republicans have one for Kerry as well. However, I am convinced that in order to register as a Republican you must first have your sense of humor surgically removed - they aren't nearly as funny.

6. Apparrently they didn't have the presence of mind to give a
list of phrases that one could choose from.... such as the build your own speech site... now wouldn't that have made sense?

I mean... if the choices were limited to a few dozen buzzwords... and states and counties could be entered.... how much more would one need to create a slogan? Dumb, dumb, and dumber... bordering on malignant dumb.
