I'm not a one issue voter either, to be completely honest about it...

I support your issue, but frankly, it just doesn't affect me directly, so I think we should concentrate on the issues that do directly affect me instead, because they are more important. Because obviously our politicians and ourselves only operate on issues one at a time, in a sequence. We need to prioritize, after all.

Kick and Recommend if you agree.

ON EDIT: Above was sarcasm. :sarcasm:

Frankly, I didn't know people wouldn't realize this was over the top, but given the level of discourse on this board, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

1. Disagree. Matter of fact, I work hardest on issues that have nothing to do with me.
GLBT rights, animal concerns, the homeless...

I know the OP is, and I know why. I was simply suggesting to others that maybe *don't* think this way that they should.

I know it was, as you've been a very vocal and appreciated critic of the Warren decision and DUers that seem to brush it off.

9. Yeah, sometimes people don't pay attention to usernames though...

I know one sarcastic post of mine a few days ago was taken the wrong way by a GLBT DUer. That's one of those "oh shit, I scewed up" moments, you know? So I sort of changed tactics, and decided to just attack those who attacked GLBT DUers head on. I may have went overboard, a couple of mod warnings, and a shitload of deleted messages would do that. :D

I figure now, sarcasm, a little bit of snark, and over the top humor may be warranted by now.

Thanks for the props, even though I don't necessarily seek it. Just don't like my GLBT brothers and sisters being attacked.

5. As a woman, it does affect me. I have a uterus which Warren believes should be controlled by the
govt. So even tho I'm straight, this Warren pig person does not represent me.

The man is a pig, a bigot, sexist, a homophobe.

To give him a position of honor, and ask him to PRAY for our country, to ADVISE AND SPEAK to our country, is piggish.
And on the heels of Prop 8, which Warrent worked on tirelessly to get it passed, this is a double insult.

How the hell Obama stepped into this sh*t is beyond me. One hell of a way for this man to start his presidency, being blessed by a pig bigot.

Perfect summation!

Love the phrase, "pig bigot" -- has a certain poetry to it. :D
