Does anyone know if this is true?
“Let's go to the White House on Sept. 13, 2001. Just 48 hours after 9/11, the toxic rubble at the World Trade Centre site was still ablaze. On that afternoon, Bandar met on the Truman balcony with President Bush and the two men lit up Cohiba cigars. At the time, the White House knew that 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis. It knew that Osama bin Laden was Saudi. And, as the 9/11 commission concluded, it knew that Saudi Arabia was "the primary source of money for al-Qaida", which was largely funded by wealthy Saudis via Islamist charities.

President Bush was in the presence of the ambassador from the country that is the guardian of Wahhabi Islam, the fundamentalist sect which helped produce al-Qaida.” –- Craig Unger, The Guardian

"babylon sister ...shake it!"

Sorry. Couldn't resist. It's one of my favorite Steely Dan tunes. Welcome to DU :hi:

Yes, the meeting happened, but I like the way Mike Moore descibes it in F911 even better.

DVD coming to a Blockbuster near you in October!

5. I would only point out that Bush
did not smoke a cigar. Bandar Bush did, but Baby Bush is not man enough to handle a cigar. They were probably afraid he would set the curtains on fire as he moved through the balcony dooors.

6. Even I knew all those things by September 13, 2001.
And I'm no government insider! In his book "Against All Enemies" Richard Clark writes that everybody had been expecting a major al Quaeda strike against the United States. They knew it was Osama bin Laden as soon as the second plane struck the World Trade Center on the morning of 9/11.

It turned out that the FBI knew all the men involved in the 9/11 attacks for months prior to the attacks. They knew exactly who they were, where they were from, and their ties to al Quaeda. They knew all about Saudi Arabia's funding of al Quaeda.

Apparently the FBI never shared this information with the CIA or the FAA. That apparent breakdown in communication is one of the major issues looked into by the 9/11 Commission. However, by 9/13/2001 everybody knew this.

Prince Bandar is so close to the Bush family he is known by a nickname within the family. President Bush told Prince Bandar that we were going to invade Iraq before he told the Secretary of State, Colin Powell. That was in the spring of 2003.

The close business and family connections between the Saudi Arabian royal family and the Bush family are well known.
