Women: Who'd ja date?
All this "likeability" crap seems to be thrown up (vomited?) whenever the repugs are at a loss to speak of something positive about their Boy Wonder.
All this nonsense about "who would you rather have a beer with?"
I don't want a drinking buddy... I was a smart, fearless, stratigizing, respectable, verbal, sophisticated man.
But if they want to play that "likeability" card, let me tighten up the question: Women, who would you prefer to date: Kerry or Bush?
Who would you prefer to go out on the town with, to a Broadway play,
to a small intimate dinner, to a smoky late night jazz spot,
to a walk on the beach?
Or maybe you prefer a redneck bar....No contest...

2. I'd date Kerry
He's smarter, better looking, has more integrity, and is more interesting.
And I'm a lawyer too.
And, as I said elsewhere, his beer is Guinness.

4. My Aunt went out with Rummy once
On a double date - I think she was with the other fella.
She asked, "who is this Donald Rumsfeld character?"
"I said - he's called Rummy"
"Oh - I remember Rummy," she said...

Edited on Mon Sep-13-04 02:11 PM by spooky3
promising to vote for him, JK/JRE would win in a landslide. For further insurance, they ought to make clones of Gen. Clark available to all who request one.

24. Edwards is the dream date, although
I would have jumped at the chance to date Kerry.

I would've gone out with any of Clark, Dean or Gephardt in my youth, too.

I never did see anything in drunken frat boys, however.

6. i always thought guys
who dressed up like cowboys were buffoons.
IF I knew a guy who dressed like a cowboy
who was afraid of horses and didn't even have
a ranch in his family history, I would know
he was a phony right off.
I would prefer a guy who took the time to learn
a foreign language any day.

thank you for that laugh!

I agree with you - Kerry over the weed that would be king any day and most definitely every night!

The weed makes me ill.

Next would be Wes Clark, Howard Dean is so darned cute and fascinating, I would take him after Clark and then Edwards next.

I can't think of one attractive man in the * admin or in the repuke :puke: party!

11. Forget Kerry AND Bush......Give me a date with
Edited on Mon Sep-13-04 02:23 PM by Frenchie4Clark
my fantasy man (after my husband of 20 years of course) is General Wesley Clark. He doesn't even to put on a uniform.....and I'd still go crazy. That man is soooooo fine....and a real man too....doesn't have to go around talking tuff to prove himself. He has walked the walk, and that's what I like my men to have done.

.....It's in his eyes! Self-made Scary-smart with great angular cheekbones, a headful of beautiful white hair and a georgeous manly body. Could any gal (with great taste) ask for any more?

Damn....oh yeah.....too bad the man's been married for 35 or so years and is dependable as old faithful!

....Oh, well, that's ok, cause his wife is a real living doll!

Like I innocently said, it's just a recurring fantasy of mine.

Whata man, whata man, whata man, whata mighty fine man!

27. Amen!
And he's even more handsome in person. His eyes and smile are amazing! He looks like a flippin' movie star, as I believe Gen. McCaffrey put it.

When Clark started being on CNN a lot and I told my husband who Clark was and that I hoped he'd run for president, my husband said, "Well, he'll sure rake in the female vote."

During the early days of the Iraq War, a Republican acquaintance of mine said about Clark "I've never had a crush on an older man before, but he's IT. He has the sexiest lips I've ever seen." I chuckled quietly because I was 99.9999% sure he is a Dem and I didn't have the heart to crush her crush, lol.

Oh, and if anyone has the pic of Wes where he's shirtless in the pool (or any other swim pic of him) I'd appreciate your posting it. Since my old computer crashed, I don't have a copy anymore.

33. LOL Well, she seems nice, that's for sure.
I do have a pic of the two couples on my desktop, precisely because it's the only desktop pic I could find with THK. I really like her - if she was eligible for election I'd totally vote for her, she seems like she wouldn't suffer fools gladly.

But those pics of Wesley Clark posted on this thread shows a mighty fine man. He's definitely not a burden to the eyes.

34. Hmmm .....
I always though Clark was incredibly sexy. Plaintive eyes, great physique, brilliant, articulate and masculine. He was my first choice in the primary.

I have Edwards picture up above my computer. I think he has amazing lips. I love his court room brilliance and his ease with the English language. I love that he came from working class folks and did something wonderful with his life.

I think Kerry would be a superb dinner date. He is supremely intelligent, cultured and well read yet athletic. I think he loves his children and has a decent heart. As an American, I feel indebted to him and others for going to Vietnam when he absolutely could have chosen not to.

I adore all three for the women they chose to marry. All of those wives are very bright with fabulous senses of humor.

As for GW Bush. I am an intellectual snob. Chalk it up to my days at the Kennedy School in Cambridge. I abhor drunks, men who don't savor a good book and faux swagger. I also despise smirking and laziness and men who marry Stepford wives. And I confess I have never been attracted to men who were cheerleaders.

if they were the last men on Earth and there were no more batteries.

That being said, do we have a fine group of Democratic men or what? Clark is too fine for words. Howard Dean is a cutie. Edwards is adorable. Kerry's got that rugged thing going for him, Clinton is still fine. The list is just endless. And they're smart too. Can't beat smart for me--as someone said earlier, that is always sexy. Stupidity is not!
