I saw a segment yesterday (probably on CNN) with two budget wonks. The Republican could barely speak as he strove to defend Bush's actions on budgetary matters.

My sister was an elementary teacher for many years. She says she can spot a liar in a second. One trait, she says, is widening the eyes when trying to be believed -- trying to get an innocent look.

Some expert in body language should write a piece for submission to WaPo.
