Bumper Sticker update...
This has become a little pet peeve of mine. I drive a lot for my job and figure JK/JE could use the extra advertising. I keep a running tally in my head and so far in Colorado the Kerry bumper stickers are out numbering the Bush ones, but there has been an increase in Bush and Anti-Kerry as of late.

How is it going in your state?

I am a little upset though - yesterday someone stole my magnetic Kerry bumper sticker. I just reordered another.

2. Way more Kerry/Edwards stickers and signs here in Michigan.
A couple of W '04 stickers, which will be confusing to some. :hi:

**My dad had no idea what W stood for. ;)

...in West Michigan!

3. I asked for one bumper sticker from the campaign
and got about 50. So I brought some into work and let folks know that they could help themselves.

So far, only about three people have taken them for their cars, but there are a lot of folks here who won't put ANY stickers on their cars period. Even in the window.

Still, our lot has four-five cars at any one time with Kerry stickers and not a "W" sticker anywhere. We are a pretty progressive office though.

Overall in Columbus, I would reckon it's a slight edge to Kerry in terms of cars with political stickers.

15. It takes time
I got a Kerry/Edwards sticker by contributing to the campaign through the Website. It took about a month and a half for it to come in the mail.

We also ordered signs, buttons, etc. from Kerry Gear on the site, and those also took forever to show up.

12. That's what happened to me........
although I paid for 100. I managed to give away about 40 and still have 60 sitting around collecting dust. My workplace is fairly progressive, but people find excuses for no stickers, no help for the campaign, etc.

I've been seeing more and more Bush/Cheney stickers and LOTS more Bush/Cheney yard signs, although the Kerry/Edwards signs just came in last week and I doubt many people have been able to get them yet.

There's one road (Rt. 7, just past Lowe's for you Delawareans) with like 15 Bush/Cheney yard signs lining it. I feel like swerving and driving down their yards to take care of the "litter" but I believe in the 1st ammendment and, much more importantly, I don't want to wreck my car because I'm not in the top 1%.

19. I was in Newark, Delaware today, and there were lots of Kerry...
bumper stickers (including mine!). I have even seen plenty just over the line in Pennsylvania where I live - which is surprising for Chester County.

4. Sad to say overwhelmingly
Bush/Cheney in TN.
In a day of traveling through Nashville, the only Kerry/Edwards I saw was mine.
I must have seen 15 for Bush.

at first more kerry than bush then since the convention.... it's like the horrible monsters have come out. there are almost as many bush as kerry..... this happened really fast.
Now it seems as though the kerry stickers have been catching up.... maybe in the last week.

7. In my neck of the woods its going great
hardly any bushbot stickers plenty of Kerry stickers. What makes this so amazing is in 2000 it was about an even divide for the bumpersticker polls (as I call them).

11. I saw a NADER sticker the other day.
But so far, in conservative Charlotte, more Kerry than Bush. I don't know what it is looking like over in Myers Park, though. Probably still Land O' BushCo over there in the expensive part of town.

13. Bush sends out free stickers
My husband got one last week and he hasn't been a Republican for years. It was oval and said W '04. As soon as we got it I started seeing them around.

14. About the Same
<<<but there has been an increase in Bush and Anti-Kerry as of late.
How is it going in your state?>>>

For some reason the * stickers and yard signs have exploded in my part of Ohio (southwest).

Still, for sheer volume the yellow "support our troops" magnetic ribbons are still in the lead.

16. Kerry yard signs are definitely up in my neighborhood
and I'm seeing more and more of them in the south part of town (where earlier this summer I saw more Chimp signs), too. In the four-five blocks around my house, I have not seen one Bush sign, but easily 12-15 Kerry signs. It's a great conversation starter when my family goes on walks - many of my neighbors are pissed. We're going to take Wisconison.

17. Misery
I know of two people who have been keyed with Kerry stickers. I drive a 1997 van with 160,000 miles. I live to catch some one keying the old Aerostar.

Kerry is dominating.

But I'm also in Colorado. Kind of. The People's Republic of Boulder actually.
