Good Website for Catholic Voters

I'm recommending www.votingcatholic.org as a useful non-partisan website for those with a religious concern in voting. I received information about the website from a volunteer whose faith is extremely important to her, and asked another good friend (who is a staunch Catholic) to evaluate it for me. He gave it a positive thumbs up review as informative and even handed. It contains a quiz which is very educational regarding how the different candidates stand on moral / ethical issues in comparison to the quiz takers.

Many people may not be aware the Catholic Church has recently come out saying it is okay to vote for "pro-choice" candidates as long as there are other moral or ethical considerations involved.

Warning: I am staunchly Pro-Kerry, and I took the test myself (despite not being Catholic). I came out +27% in agreement with the Bishops, +45% in agreement with Kerry, and MINUS 54% in agreement with Wrong Way. As I said, Very Educational.

11. I'm a recovering Catholic with 2 kids in Catholic school

I'm +45% Kerry, +45% Bishops, and -82% Bush. I'm a little unsure what that means, but I love this website and quiz because it does a great job of reminding Catholics that the Catholic agenda has facets beyond its pro-life components. Even I was surprised that I'm a full-on 100% papist when it comes to social justice and global solidarity.

By the way, anyone know where to get "Catholics for Kerry" bumper stickers?
