Wanna buy a bridge? :) If people just thought rationally for a moment, they could see that George Bush could kill this story in a NY minute if he wanted and slap CBS down at the same time. Release the originals George! Prove that the Democrats are "tired and pathetic".....Put up or shut up time!

3. I NEVER defend Shrub, but I'm sure the originals are gone.

The military put all these old records on microfiche quite a while ago, and at that point would have destroyed the paper copies. I doubt Shrub kept any of his paper copies! Would you? I sure wouldn't have, unless they were glowing reports of some accomplishments I had...in which case I would have framed them.

I don't buy the story that the mocrofiche is not available, and should be produced, but it's unfair to ask for originals 30+ years later.

6. Well, it was reported months ago that some microfiche had to be copied

to preserve it. So that's a very good possibility. I hadn't heard it expanded upon...
