6. From his website
Wednesday on Imus Democratic Presidential Candidate John Kerry will join Imus at 7:29 am ET to talk about the latest with his campaign. Can John Kerry get Imus from "undecided" back onto the Kerry bandwagon?

CNN's Lou Dobbs will also join Imus on Wednesday at 8:29 am ET to talk about the economy. How much will the state of the economy play in the upcoming election? Is it more important to Americans then the War on Terror?

Might be interesting to catch Lou Dobbs also.

for the host to ask Kerry why he isn't fighting back?
Yes, I know he is, but the perception is he isn't.

11. Imus is a crotchety old fruitcake. Why people kiss his ass is beyond me.
I don't care how many listeners he has. I listen from time to time just to see what he's up to -- but it's getting harder and harder to stomach. He was all the way for Kerry. Now he's undecided, but says he will probably vote for Kerry. But he thinks Bush is a great man -- he just doesn't like Cheney. He thinks the wonderful George W. has been led astray by Cheney and Rumsfeld, but Bush is blameless. Imus can't admit an error -- ever -- so he still holds that Al Gore is crazy and Bush being president is better. I hear a little of him and then have to turn it off -- listening to the pundits kiss his ass daily is only possible in very small doses.

He's a self-promoter and self-aggrandizer to the point that, while it may have been "schtick" at one point, he's bought into his joke and thinks he's a king-maker. The Imus Ranch business seems like a scam to get people to pay for a ranch that sick kids visit for a few weeks each summer -- and he's got a multi-million dollar prime property outside Santa Fe, New Mexico, paid-for, and tax-free. All the while he pats himself on the back for all the wonderful things he does for sick kids. It's all too Repuke for me. I've noticed that all the guests he fawns over are the ones that give him money.
