The race in a nutshell: The graphic TRUTH!
Edited on Tue Sep-14-04 12:21 AM by TruthIsAll
Kerry is rebounding in the battleground states

Kerry will get the undecideds.

He is starting to reverse the 2-point loss in the national polls

IBD/CSM (a reputable pollster) has just released a poll which gives Kerry the lead.

Bush job approval is down in Newsweek and Zogby.

Kerry is winning 84% of five thousand simulated elections.

It's the frequency, Kenneth...

5. I don't want to spoil the party so I'll go.....in a minute.
I've been here for about 3 years(not with current ID).
It amazes me how one group of DU'ers can be so "over optimistic" and another group can be "over pessimistic".
Truth is, this is going to be be a tough election....We're a little behind in the presidential polls right now.....We might even lose our senate minority leader.
But.... we have almost 2 months to change things, make this thing work.
I would advise that everyone here cut their DU time by 50%, and invest that time "out on the street" REALLY trying to change things.
Voter registration, neighborhood canvassing....etc.
Don't waste so much time on the Swift boaters,Bushes Nat. Guard, and Cocaine.
Get "our " people to the polls.

6. Got That Right!
TURNOUT will be the deciding factor in this election. If everyone who dislikes BushCheney would vote, we would have a landslide. Too bad they all won't...

8. EXACTLY!
As you may have guessed by the number of posts I have
so far, I have NOT been around for 3 years! :)
More like 3 hours! Ok, that's not true, but until yesturday
I was largely a lurker. Reading posts and articles.

You are SO right about needing to get out into the streets!

I'm actually going to be beginning a full time job registering
voters and in my spare time...more of the same! :)

My main focus will be on getting younger voters out to the
polls this year, but it's important that EVERYONE get
out and vote! This is going to be a VERY close race and
anything, and I mean ANYTHING, might happen.

Time to step up...not back.

Thanks for the great forum! I love it here.
