About those Seven Minutes, and Bill Maher, and this thread...
The discussion here is about using the seven minutes when * sat looking like a deer in the headlights...
<http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x807677>

The current question here involves why we are not citing this in campaign ads.

Quite a while ago, there was a "Take Back the Media" flash animation made and circulated, that does just this. It is a split screen annotation, and extremely well done - to the point of still being very difficult to watch. <http://www.takebackthemedia.com/true911.html>

What appears to be the same animation is on AttackonAmerica.net. <http://www.attackonamerica.net/bush911flash.htm>

Let's circulate these as far as we can.

1. I wish the video would be updated.
First, there are at least a couple of the facts stated are incorrect.

1. The video says he read My Pet Goat for 20 minutes. It seems to be well established that it was 7 minutes.

2. I believe the video states the South Tower was struck first, but the fact is it was the North Tower.

Second, what is being referred to by "Bush Knew." That he knew about the attacks beforehand? Or what?

Third, at the end the video demands an independendent investigation. That has been done (some would say not well enough, but that is another battle to be fought). That needs to be changed to something along the lines of a series of questions to Bush, explaining his bizarre behavior and the inconsistencies in his statements.

2. It wasn't an independent commission

Every member of the commission had a conflict of interest. In any fair inquiry conducted with some sort due process, none of the members would have been allowed to serve.

The omissions of the inquiry and the findings which contradicted the evidence they pretended to consider are what one would expect from a body with such conflicts of interests taking its direction from the government.

3. He sat around for 20 minutes after the first tower was struck.
The seven minutes was after the second tower was struck.
