The media let Bush (and themselves) off the hook again.
Not ONE PERSON mentioned his greatest sin...attacking Iraq and being responsible for the death of many thousands of innocent people! Whenever deaths are referred to, it is always the American servicemen....never the thousands upon thousands of Iraqis. Those unnecessary deaths are the reason Bush is hated in that part of the world...worldwide in fact.

1. Olbermann mentions it.....
but he and Maddow are lone voices in the vast wilderness of idiocracy.

2. You're right about Olbermann but I was referring to the media people
who were present at his news conference today.

6. and KO and Rachel weren't even able to speak their mind until well into 2006.
And at this point, Rachel STILL has to temper her words because of her newbie status.

3. They're probably afraid to call him on anything...
he still is in office and can do terrible damage if he gets pissed off. He's dangerous and they know it. Better to wait until he is on his way to Texas for the last time.

5. You're giving the press too much credit, #3
This press conference was just like all the rest for 8 yrs- laughing at his jokes and playing themselves for fools. No serious probing questions on all he has done to ruin this country. Face it, they like him and still can't do the job the press is supposed to do. He was his usual smart ass smirking self.
