US vs World Media

Does anyone else think it's damning that if the world were to vote, Kerry would be overwhelmingly elected, but the US stands divided? And does anyone else wonder why all the really gritty articles exposing Bush for what he truly is are printed in the foreign press but not in the US? And does anyone else think the link is causative rather than co-incidental?

The US media is the enemy.

1. I agree but....

Ultimately we get the media, the government etc. that we demand. Sure we're duped into not paying attension etc. but the bastards only get away with taking advantage of American slumber because we let them.

Murdoc came from Australia, and yet the media coverage - while still less than stellar on the major networks - is far better than US network news, and SBS is incredible.

The US media are opportunistic vultures, who like to get fat by any means, but we - the collective we (Americans) are our own worst enemy.

If the media were to do there jobs, with truth as the lead... sure this election would not even be close.
