Did anyone catch that Poll on CSPAN this A.M.?

Vaughn Verbers cited some electoral poll that had Shrubby up in the 300s with 31 states and Kerry in the low 200 with 18 states. After they showed the chart and everything, then he blurred out real fast that it is a republican poll but that's what we want to show you for today.

Slate punched up the numbers, and while according to them Bush would win if the election was held today, 200 some odd electoral votes he would win are within the margin of error for the polling in question. That doesn't sound so solid to me, I think we can teeter that.

3. Slate was also using very old numbers

If you are referring to the Electoral vote analysis by Slate yesterday, many of those state polls cited were from May, June, and July. Absolutely useless...they should know better
