HAS ANYONE YET ASKED BUSH questions about the content of the memos?
I'm sick of all the dicking around about forgery crap. Started up by CNS and some freepers.

No, I want to hear a journalist ask him some hard questions about his service. If Kerry had to answer them, HE DOES TOO.

Why do I have the feeling McClellan has already just gone out and said "he served honorably" 5,478 times?

Why doesn't that assclown bush hold a FREAKING PRESS CONFERENCE?

What's his number for press conferences anyway? I want to compare to bush the first and Clinton. Maybe throw in Reagan for good measure. Anywhere I can find that information.

I want that fugger to ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS.

1. Yes - CBS did - and Bush refused to answer -"I got an Honorable discharge"

is the only answer

And US Media pundits let him get away with that answer.

4. See that's the problem right there
they LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT.

Why not keep asking? Put some pit bull in there like Helen Thomas who won't play their games and just smile and nod and say "ok onto the next question, did you have fun when you owned the Rangers?"

Geez. Fuck me.

3. Bush is under orders
not to discuss his NG records. He has trouble speaking english when its about something not so important. You really think Karl Rove wants him to totally blow it?
There was a piece of film last night in which a reporter asked him a National Guard related question. Bush just stared at her, then turned away and went inside a building.
You wont get Bush to talk about it unless it is asked as a question in the Kerry/Bush debates and I bet they have already demanded that that subject be off limits there too.

6. Unscripted question aren't allowed
They won't let anyone ask a question unless they know what it is first. No way thats getting through. We have to learn to play by new rules.

7. He looks like a total schmuck by not answering them,
it just proves this stuff is true. If it weren't he would be vehemently denying them. I thin the deadpan response by McClellan is a dead giveaway, they are in damage control mode right now

13. Imagine if Kerry had done that
when the SBVs attacked him with their lies?

He responded quickly and forcefully to the accusations.

All W can do is turn his back and walk away. Says it all, doesn't it?

9. Say What?
If the memos are forged, there's no valid "content" that calls for a response. It's like the FRuitloops expecting Clinton to "respond" to the goofball allegations in The Clinton Chronicles.

10. But the memos aren't forged.
Your guy just can't answer questions. He's a bit too brain damaged to handle the unexpected. He'd either just sit & staring (like he did on 9/11) or get mad.

14. The questions are valid
Edited on Tue Sep-14-04 04:18 PM by A_Possum
Why'd he stop flying? Why didn't he attend drills? Why did he get into the guard in the first place? Why didn't he take his required physical? Why wasn't he placed on active duty for missing drills he had agreed to attend?

All of those questions arise from the records released, not from the memos. The memos just imply the reasons.

12. I can almost guarantee that Peter Jennings won't ask these questions
at any Bush-Kerry debate panel he might attend.

15. Of course not - Bush doesn't ever need to defend himself
Only Kerry and Bush critics can called upon to defend themselves and be hounded for responses to tough questions.
