If Kelley's words in Salon don't get you to work your ASSES off for Kerry
Edited on Tue Sep-14-04 12:39 PM by blm
and get off this "hold my nose" dumbass stuff that the media is now using AGAINST Kerry, then what will?

Anyone who can't enthusiastically vote and campaign for the ONE man standing between this country and the end of democracy doesn't DESERVE democracy.

------------

Q: What do you think W. will do if he loses in November? Will he happily go back to baseball?
A: No. You know something that I have found out from this family after four years -- he doesn't plan to lose. They know how to win -- no matter what.
Q: What does that mean?
A: That means these people can put the Sopranos to shame.

2. gangsters. Someone's finally calling a spade a spade
it is, indeed, one big bunch of gangsters.

As soon as people realize that, they'll ALSO realize they all need to be locked away where they can't hurt anyone else.

3. Many of us have been calling them gangsters since 2000
If Kelley can somehow get the rest of America doing so, more power to her.

No, but I was in high school at the time and believed Reagan was a fascist, if I recall. Different puppet now, same group of rightwing thugs making him dance.

Regarding Bush and 2000, I wrote this in April 2001, about thematic similarities I saw between Florida 2000 and fascist/CIA coups:

17. This gang is WORSE than Reagan
Reagan may have talked tough, but he was open to negotiating. Remember, he and Gorbachev did sign a treaty to reduce ICBMs in the US and USSR. And they almost signed a treaty that would have eliminated ALL nukes.

BushCo is even worse. Bush talks tough, but then DOESN'T negotiate. North Korea is a good case in point. At the end of 2000, Albright damn near had the North opening up the border with the South. Another years' worth of talks, and we could very well have seen a plan for reunification of the north and south.

But what does BushCo do? They immediately ceased bilateral negotiations, and snub N. Korea at every turn. Three years later, and it looks like the North may have a nuke. This would have NEVER happened had Gore won, as negotiations probably would have continued.

So now we face not only a nuclear N. Korea, but also a nuclear Iran (who know all about the PNAC Global Domination plan).

Once again, how are we safer with Dubya in office?

I graduated high school in 1987, and spent my teenage years afraid of Ronnie launching the nukes. But at least I didn't have to worry about being locked up indefinately for going to an anti-nuke protest.
