Kerry hires Mike McCurry ex press secretary to Clinton.

He quit after Clinton lied to him about Monica. I can't remember him but he start Wendsday. He will be an advisor to Kerry.He is going on the trail and he will be the media spokesman. His role will be to make sure the traveling press corps know what Kerry is doing and why. Associated Press

Having dealt with the media during the Clinton years and much of the Lewinsky scandal, McCurry is a great choice. I was always a big fan. He also has a biting wit, so I'm sure he'll have some great soundbites.

especially when you look at it in comparison to the mess bush has made.

9. I'm not entirely sure that's why he quit

but I know he was upset Clinton lied to him, as were many members of his administration. McCurry's a good man who believed Clinton's denials. I can see where he was coming from. BTW, he certainly didn't aupport Ken Starr's inquisition or impeachment; he was angry at how Clinton hurt his family.

against Clinton for lying since he quit will be all that great for Kerry, some that took Clinton's little candlelight liasons to seriously make me a bit nervous....

13. I would try to get beyond that because of this guy's experience and m.o.

He knows those predator jounalists, but has a way of combining fact with wit and as I remember he is a master of put-down without alienating.

Clinton was lucky and he must have used his intuitive brain as well as his executive brain to pick all the good people he did pick and get.

If it's any consolation, imagine how McCurry would hae been pained if he was a Republican and had been picked for the job Ari got.

15. Oh, I am not making rash judgements on most of what

Kerry's campaign is up to these days. I know, I personaly could not in all good conscience be able to withstand the aggravation that such political grandstanding must bring upon any one individual...

I would be more of a Teresa type individual, the comment shove it would become my slogan daily towards ninety percent of these biased journalists etc...

I can only hope he does this campaing justice, your right in that Clinton had a great staff, it shows in that he had two terms. I am not in a position to question such calls...
