Why do we have to push & prod the Kerry campaign?
Who selects the so called leaders of the DNC and the DLC? We give them several hundred million dollars for a campaign and they trot out this? Do they really want to win, or are they more interested in principals?

1. Little too late. All should have sounded the Alarm at Convention Time.

Looking back, Al Sharpton did the right thing by going around
the campaign restrictions on his speech.

Now clear that we missed the only real opportunity to fully
discredit the shrub.

2. Because we want them to win. Why bitch about what you have to do?
You have no idea how hard they work. It's the end result that counts. Some say it's the journey because they like it. But it's the end result.

3. What poll has your knickers in a twist this time?
The percentage of Chicken Littles in this place is out of all proportion to the national poultry population.

5. I am not concerned with polls
I am concerned with what I'm hearing from people all over the state of Ohio, and they keep repeating Bush talking points! It's overwhelming how much they sound like robots and how little truth they have. I set them straight, but I'm frustrated at just why the Kerry campaign hasn't done this for themselves.

6. It is curious
I have my own theories but what I'm hoping for is that Kerry has an ace up his sleeve (hoping too it's not the ace of spades--yikes).

I'm reading articles coming out against bush..much more revealing than at first. People of note are stepping forward to lay all sorts of blame at Bush's feet--generals, Colin Powell, other noted republicans even. Bushco is playing a very dirty game but I hear people on radio shows just livid with bush anyway and I figure there are untold numbers of people that are going to vote for Kerry who we just don't "see" at the moment.

Furthermore, I assume we have people working like hounds for the campaign in their respective communites. We'll get our gentle giant elected whether he likes it or not! LOL

THINKING people don't need much convincing...let's hope there are more thinking people than lemmings in that silent population.

Heck, out here in Calif. we are champing on the bit waiting to cast our vote for Kerry! We Be Ready, baby

Don't let appearances get you down yet....... Best SB

7. "gentle giant"
Nice, brings to mind Lincoln. And, of course, both men have steel underneath.

8. IOW, you're concerned about anecdotes.
I don't see how that's anymore defensible.

11. Living in Ohio right now surely must be a tense game..
Getting bombarded with all kinds of info and hype....whew! I can only imagine the environment your living in. Out west (in CA) we have almost zero info...certainly we are not being "flooded" with hype.
I get worried sometimes because I DON'T see anything from Kerry but what little I can wring from TV News, radio, and print media.

Knowing where you live, I imagine it is like living in a bubble of constant turmoil. You have my sympathies. Hang in there friend; do what you can and "keep the faith"

HOPE IS ON THE WAY~~~ :D

12. Because the Kerry campaign has a track record
of refusing to listen to their constituents, and banning anyone from their Blog who offers constructive criticism.

Kerry has, since the DLC was created, a staunch member. The same people that brought us the spineless Senate minority leader Daschle, the same people who can't stand up effectively to Bush on Iraq, and offer Americans a clear choice.

Howard Dean was absolutely right about Kerry and their crowd. They're spineless.

I'm voting for them only as the lesser of two evils. I am sick of Kerry. The only hope I have is Edwards.

13. Push and prod the Kerry campaign to do what?
It seems as if an important part of your post was left out.

14. tell me about it
I know! I sent them money, what are they doing with it? We should be hanging Bush on so many issues, not defending crap that happened 30 yrs. ago that no one gives a hoot about! Why are we always fighting back?

Why don't they give out bumpersticker and such at their rallys? Free advertising, why do we have to pay for them?

OH yeah, be careful they might ban you here if you express disappointment with this campaign!
