Screw the polls, the debates matter most.
Kerry will need to go for the throat during the first debate. No second guessing, no being polite and diplomatic just balls to wall harping on shrub about all the lies, scandals, misjudgments and all in out incompetence since stealing office.

I'm sure both sides will have their famous October surprises but if Kerry finally shows shrub for what he is during this first debate no surprise will save the appointed one from a crushing defeat!

1. The debates don't matter. The post-debate SPIN is what matters.
Remember this-

People who actually watched the Bush-Gore debates felt that Gore won.

But people who only HEARD about the Bush-Gore debates believed BUSH won.

A CNN panel of "undecided voters" speaking glowingly of Bush's resolve after the debate is over is far, far more damaging than what actually happens in the debate itself.

3. that was after debate spin that can't be used again.
They painted shrub as lacking experience in debates against a master debater in Gore. All he had to do was form 1 sentence and their plan worked out. This time shrub has to answer for his record. Everyone now knows shrub is a master debater *wink* *wink*, so they can't use that one anymore. shrub will finally be out there after 4 years for the world to see in an unscripted environment. Time for Kerry to go for the kill!

4. The media wont be able to spin this one like they have been
Today I heard Marciano of CNN say they expect this debate to have record viewership. Many people are into this race and can't wait to see the 2 men going at it head to head.

The media is able to get away with most of the shit they do now because most people aren't glued to political tv, online boards etc. People know what they are watching and they will have to see shrub handed his ass on a plate!

5. And most of all...
NO DRONING. It doesn't matter what he says if the audience is comatose before he's through. Kerry needs to learn that what works with a captive audience in the senate will fail bigtime with an audience weaned on 30 second commercials. And learn it now.

6. I agree, blow this shithead out of the water
and corner him on all the scandals, lies, etc. That way the press will have a hard time spinning it that Bush won. If he is reduced to sputtering and actually loses his cool, then it is case closed.:)

7. Exactly, hit him hard, keep hitting him, don't let him up...
If Kerry scores the knockout we all know he can deliver (and Bush deserves) then no one will need to pay attention to any media spin because they'll know who won the debate. And if it happens on the first debate, look for W to try and duck out of the other debate(s).

But by then it will be obvious he is on the ropes. The people will see for themselves who the better man is, and the tide of the election will turn in Kerry's favor.

8. It has to be the first debate!
This would be the only point where Kerry can spin this around. shrub and Rove have had him playing defense all this time. Kerry would be able to knock shrub off track leaving shrub trying claw his way back.

A full all in out attack, first debate!

9. Do votes count
If Bush never won in 2000 and less people are going to vote for Nader this year
and allot more people hate him now than in 2000.Than someone tell me how dose he win,
Now what I think is the new is not telling the truth and the polls are not all right.
So it got to be the new voting system with the no paper trill, I hate a fucking cheater.

10. With all these polls...
Why even have an election? Let's just permanently install the Chimp, since the people think he has done such a marvelous job. With Gallop in charge, we won't even have to waste our precious time on November 2nd.

This is cynical, I know, but if Bush pulls this shit off, the citizens of this country deserve him and his destructive policies.
