Tweety has that feeling trickling down his leg again
Even though he looks exhausted, he's a happy man.

Props to MSNBC for letting 4 Dems be on TV together without any wingnuts there to piss on the moment.

2. Is he hammered?
He's acting like he's drunk - probably just tired.

7. He's diabetic
Edited on Tue Jan-20-09 10:15 PM by DesertRat
I think his blood sugar is low. Seriously.

During the parade he asked Nora if the White House behind the viewing stand was a picture. She told him that no, it was REAL the White House. He said it's "too perfect" and insisted that it had to be a picture....

9. He's been bizzarely over-praising MSNBC today too
I didn't realize that he was diabetic - long days like this might get to him.

He needs to go take a nap.

12. He was way weird last night talking to
Eugene Robinson about how "people would definitely be watching MSNBC" for today's coverage. With a real pissed off attitude. It threw Robinson off like..."ok, whatever".

I feel bad. I thought he was drunk tonight. I didn't know he was diabetic. This has to be an emotionally and physically draining day for anyone involved.

6. They don't normally do a 21 gun salute during an inauguration?

8. I guess they do, but today it seemed so much more prominent.
That is when I finally teared up. It's like the cannons announced it was truly official and had really happened.

I don't remember them from any other inauguration, but I know they are part of it.

It was great!

11. That's "tingling up" his leg
After Al Roker misquoted him as saying "Trickling down," Tweety corrected him, saying "there's a big frickin' difference!"

14. wasnt that funny! I love Tweety.
Among my fav. memories from yesterday was him going "HA!" when he got excited about something. Seriously, he and Keith signed on yesterday morning, KO said something profound and Tweety said "HA!" as if to say, "how about that!"

17. There is no better television than Matthews on the air after 10 hours
God only knows what he is going to say, but it is usually interesting.

He and Shrum were sharing some great JFK anecdotes last night. And he was quoting obscure German cinema, I think.

interesting and insightful stories to tell.

I'm still laughing at his comment that Joe Biden will be our Ed McMahon.
