Park Police, MPD Report No Arrests
Officer Denise Maradiaga said the U.S. Park Police made no arrests on the Mall today and that things are clearing up nicely. She also reported that 30 lost children were safely returned to their families.

As of about 1 p.m., MPD said they had not made any arrests during today's celebrations.

Asst. D.C. Police Chief Patrick Burke said police made no arrests but dealt with "a lot of medical issues."

Earlier this afternoon law enforcement officials were gearing up for frigid and massive crowd to leave via Metro. "We've got national guardsmen at every single station, making sure there are no surges."
